If your sweetie is away for a few days, of course you're going to feel a bit lonely, down in the mouth. Hanging around your now oddly empty home can feel a bit like a ping-pong ball rattling around an empty shoebox. While you can distract yourself for a while, be prepared to feel less than happy.

Especially late Friday night. It's a doozy.

Hint for the day - if you are stuck in such a position, take a hot shower. Feeling alone and not terribly grand on Friday night is somewhat more bearable when one is cleanly damp.
