This is Why We Have Brains?
I don't quite remember how this came up last night....
The word "tartar" was mentioned, though I am unclear as to whether it was in the dental, Mongol/Turk, or culinary senses. But I suggest keeping all those senses in mind.
This brought my Lady to mention "tartar sauce", in the sense of a sauce that was either mady by, or made for putting upon, Tartars.
And that led me to think of "tartar sloths". The number of different images I can conjure up with this pairing of words is distrubing...
