Howard Hughes Reincarnated?
A friend of mine recently reported on how NASA will likely shut down its Institute for Advanced Concepts. Which is a shame.
However, maybe someone isn't quite so stupid...
Virgin Galactic, NASA Team Up to Develop Space-Plane Travel
Nobody has committed funds yet, it is more an agreement to look at the possibility of a partnership seriously. But it makes a heck of a lot of sense, and edges Richard Branson just that much closer to qualifying for "visionary" status...
