Usually, I'm fairly resistant to frustration. Taking a long time to reach the intended goal doesn't generally stop me. I stop because my interest in the final goal wanes. Thus the exploration of exactly how interested I am in this, and from whence that interest stems. If my interest is high enough, and comes from a long-lasting source, I'm good to go no matter how long it takes.
