There's a Clint Eastwood movie, "Heartbreak Ridge", in which Eastwood plays hard-bitten marine Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway during the 1983 invasion of Granada. There's a point in the movie where a colonel comes up to Highway, who is watching over a military exercise, and asks him, "What's your assessment of this situation, Gunny?"

Gunny's reply, "It's a genuine cluster f**k, sir."

That's my day so far. Genuine and bona fide.

Gunny Highway is, as you might guess, an icon among senior enlisted Marines. He's the kind of guy we all hope we'll be when it hits the fan. (He's also a serious liberty risk, that being the part of his personality we don't try to emulate.)

Anyhow, since you're right in the middle of a Clusterfsck right now, just remember that the way out is always a matter of "improvise, adapt, and overcome."
