Mixed Blessing?
Mar. 17th, 2004 10:23 pmEight months of Presidential campaigning.
How much actual governance can get done in those eight months of distraction? As a taxpayer, I find it a little exasperating that the President is going to use up three-quarters of a year busy keeping himself in his job instead of actually doing the job. Seems like an incredible waste.
But then again, seeing as I really don't like the current administration, perhaps I should be glad that it won't be able to do much actual administrating for the better part of this year. The campaign may limit the good work that can be done, but it also limits the amount of harm that can be done as well.
