It is nice to be wanted...

It looks like my spate of unemployment is coming to an end. Some T's are still being crossed, and I's dotted, but I believe my end of the paperwork is done. Next week, I begin work as a project manager in M.I.T.'s department of Infrastructure Software Development and Architecture.
It's a consulting gig, for now. At the beginning of the next fiscal year, the department wants to try to make the role permanent. So, I figure I've got four months to make myself indispensable. In the meantime, hooray for continued cashflow and a job you can take a bit of pride in!
