Dear Sir or Madam:
I can understand that there is some utility to be found in sending people disturbing, depressing dreams. Humans are a flawed yet arrogant species, and there is some call for efforts to keep us humble. I even understand that I, as a human being, am not above reproach, and that I probably deserve the occasional kick in the pants at four in the morning.
I'll even go so far as to say that your choice for this morning, while far from original, was highly effective. However, I should point out that you do yourself no honor in besmirching the memory of the dead for such purposes. Good people should be allowed to rest in peace in the memory of their loved ones. In the future, I'd ask you to concentrate on sins I have actually committed, and for which I might actually make attempts at atonement, rather than constructing false crimes against those who have passed on and are therefore beyond any action on my part. Your current tactics simply don't lend themselves to constructive alteration of my behavior, fail to do anything for the public good, and so are a waste of your time and energy.
Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to future programing from your Bureau that leads to more positive alterations in my character.
Sincerely,
Me

Date: 2004-05-04 11:05 am (UTC)Eh. I take it as a necessary evil result of having a reasonably healthy psyche. A mind without fear or worry is the result of a life unexamined. Which, as the old saying goes, is not worth living.
BTW, where did you get your user icon?
It came from here (http://www.dookyweb.com/index.php?seccion=avatars). At the time, the e-mail function did not work, and the page provides no way to save the image. So I did a full-screen capture, cropped, and resized the thing to fit.
