Well, it looks like I'm a panel short of a comp this year. I suppose I shall have to look for an hour of programming-related volunteering to fill the gap.

I wasn't sure I was planning on staying at the con until so late on Sunday, but we'll see what happens there. Maybe I can turn it into a "last thing after dinner" panel...

Anyway, my panels are:

What could an advanced civilization accomplish, given the laws of physics as we
understand them today, but no engineering constraints? FTL? Time travel?
Immortality? Arbitrarily fast computation? This panels is about what we think is
possible, not what it would mean for society.

It is probably wrong for me to chortle about the secrets of the Illuminati, since according to Craig Heimbichner (http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=books&field-author=Craig%20Heimbichner&page=1) I'm a member of the world's most dangerous secret society... if you get more information, can you find out where my dividend check is, for ruling the world and stuff? ;-)

I think you need more than an hour of gophering to equal a third panel. I forget the exact proportions though.
