Emily is not real

The film clip here isn't a real person - she's a computer animation. Simply astounding.

wow! VERY impressive, though the blur around her facial features (even before they started playing with her face) was somewhat distracting, especially as everything else about her is sharp and clearly-focused. Still, Simone anyone? *g*

I'm impressed. Though this now means most video clips I see from now on will be more in doubt as to their depiction of real events.

Still a little valley, but excellent quality. Now, given that it is still modeled on an actor, and not fully computer generated, it's not to the point where I'm floored yet. Also given that the generated model is a near identical replica of the actual actor (making things a _lot_ easier, especially with nuanced expressions), I'm not blown away. Now, if you can get that level of nuance and character when you replace the face with a different human face (and not a goofy color or chroma overlay that hides things), I'll be sufficiently impressed. This just strikes me as every other idealized product demo, where the variables are constrained to put the product in the best light.
